Cristina Cass is awesome

I am thankful for Cristina. I have prepared a list of reasons why.
1. There is no one nicer than Cristina Cass. Literally Cristina is NOT rude. Even if you are rude to her. She has the most positive attitude of anyone I know and is always smiling, despite the situation.
2. Cristina throws really cool parties. I think I have been to at least 10 Cass parties and I have only known her for two and a half years. They have lots of food and lots of games and lots of people. Plus her family is really nice also so it's always a lot of fun.
3. Cristina likes Nicolas Cage. I'm not sure why but Cristina was there when my obsession began. She'll probably be there when it ends too. Hmm.
4. Cristina is the best writer. Have you read her pieces for this class? Astounding. I don't know when she got so good but she is REALLY GOOD.
5. Cristina has this cute little sway when she walks. I don't know how but I seriously can always recognize her when I see her, despite what she's wearing or how much of her I can see. She also has a really unique style that I really like about her, and she's not afraid to be different. :)))
6. Cristina can do everything- dance, draw, write, sing, anything.
7. She still works as a Missionary at the Church of Nicolas Cage on Facebook.. (I am priest) but I suppose this could file under #3...

Those are just a few reasons why I am thankful for Cristina. She's an all around great person to be around, so you should be too.

I Celebrate Myself

I can't say that I celebrate myself, because I don't think I do. Nowadays, when we think about celebrating, we think about parties, fun. No, I don't throw parties for myself... or anything close to that. Maybe it's about being thankful. Sure, I'm  thankful for my life and everything I have, but I don't celebrate that. I'm not even sure I would know how.

However, maybe the transcendentalists would see otherwise. They likely had a different view on celebrating yourself. For example, I often take time to myself because I get overwhelmed when I'm always around people. Now, I'm NOT saying I would go desert myself in Alaska to take some alone time, but I'll go read alone in my room or something. Sometimes I'll go for a walk by myself. Maybe the transcendentalists would see this as me celebrating myself, because I'm being individual. Other than this, however, I can't see many ties between myself and the transcendentalists. I only agree with some of their individualism ideas, but not all, because I would definitely miss society if I followed all of their beliefs. Sort of how Chris McCandless begins to feel.

So, my answer to the question is still no. I celebrate the fact that I'm alive, sure, but not everything I do, and that's what I think celebrating myself should mean. While the transcendentalists might think otherwise, that's what I think.
